The premiere of the military historical film “Rosliy” at ASU

In preparation for the celebration of the 80^th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, “Rostelecom” will present the premiere of the military historical drama ”Rosliy” at the Adyghe State University on May 6. The film was based on the biography of a combat general, Hero of the Soviet Union Ivan Rosliy.

The Adyghe State University teachers and students will watch the video address of the main actor Kirill Zaitsev and first two episodes of the film.

Military commander Ivan Pavlovich Rosliy took part in the North Caucasian, Krasnodar and Berlin offensive operations and liberation of Krasnodar and Maykop.
One Krasnodar street and a secondary school №94 were named after Ivan Rosliy. This series is especially interesting for Adygheya, as it gives an idea of how the liberation struggle for the Caucasus was going on.

The film “Rosliy” is not only about one person’s military fate, it is about the country’s history for 20 years. It is based on archival materials and memoirs.

During the filming, 40 tanks and armored vehicles, 12 pieces of artillery, 3 “Katyusha” systems, more than 20 retro cars were used and 90 explosions and 5,500 shots were fired

The serial drama’s director is Nikolai Nikitin. The main roles played Kirill Zaitsev, Evgeny Miller, Sergey Makhovikov, Sergey Vexler, Artem Fedotov, Karina Andolenko, Vera Shpak.
