Biography
Tlekhatuk Susanna Ruslanovna is the Vice-Rector for International Affairs at the Adyghe State University. Professor of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language. She is the Doctor of Philological Science, Excellent student of Education of Mongolia, Member of the Commission of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Adygheya on the recognition of foreign citizens or stateless persons as native speakers.
She was born in 1970. In 1994 she graduated from the Adyghe State University. Her specialty is “Teacher of English and German languages”
From 1994 to 1999 she worked as an assistant at the English Department at the Foreign Languages Faculty In 2000 she defended her PhD thesis on the topic “Zoonyms in the Russian and Adyghe languages: semantic, word-formation and linguistic and cultural aspects”. From 1999 to 2003 she worked as the International Programs Coordinator at the Department of Economy, International Communications and Social Protection. In 2003 she was reassigned to the position of Head of International Relations Department. In 2008 she was appointed to the position of the International Faculty Dean. In 2018 Tlekhatuk successfully defended her doctoral thesis on the topic “The subject area “Economics”: cognitive and semiotic aspects”
In 2019 she completed professional retraining in the program “Methods of teaching of Russian as a foreign language/ as non-native” at the Russian Peoples’ Friendship University.
She has three monographs, more than fifty publications, study guides, articles in Russian and international publications recommended by HAC and indexed in Scopus.
Tlekhatuk Susanna was appointed Vice-Rector for International Affairs at the Adyghe State University in 2020.
