This event serves as a platform for exchanging opinions and experiences, where leading linguists from around the world present their research findings aimed at addressing the most pressing issues in language science.
ASU is represented at the congress by Susanna Makerova, the head of the Laboratory of Experimental Linguistics and the Department of English Philology. It is worth noting that the Laboratory conducts research in the area of bilingualism in collaboration with the Center for Language and Brain at the Higher School of Economics.
In the sociolinguistics section, a report and poster titled "Assessment of Children's Reading Skills in Majoritarian and Minority Languages" were presented in English. The authors of these works include a research team from the Higher School of Economics and Adyghe State University, represented by Nina Zdorova and Susanna Makerova, as well as Aigul Khanova, an employee of Kazan Federal University.
Additionally, presentations will take place in the psycholinguistics section, where Professor Olga Dragoy, the director of the Center for Language and Brain and the scientific director of the Laboratory of Experimental Linguistics at ASU, will be speaking.
