All-Russian conference “Mathematical talent and mathematical education”

The VI All-Russian conference “Mathematical talent and mathematical education” will be held in Maykop in October 26 -31.The scientific program events will be held at the Adyghe State University in October 27 -29.
The conference focuses on the holistic trajectory of developing mathematical talent. The participants will discuss preparation for Olympiads, how to identify a child’s abilities in a timely manner, support their interest in the subject, create conditions for in-depth learning, and help them take the next educational step.   
The program will combine issues related to psychology of mathematical giftedness, ability diagnostics, the operation of specialized classes and schools, schoolchildren’s research activity as well as the popularization of mathematics, teacher training, and the use of artificial intelligence in education. This broad perspective allows us to view mathematics education as a system in which both the capable student and a teacher, as well as the educational environment, are important.

The participants will have the opportunity to take a tour to foothills of the Western Caucasus as a part of leisure program on October

The conference will unite scientists, educators, teachers, educators specializing in working with gifted children, mathematics education administrators, postgraduate students, master’s degree candidates and students.
The organizers are the Adyghe State University, Moscow Physics and Technology Institute ( a national research university) and the ASU Caucasus mathematical centre.

The Head of the program committee is the ASU Rector Daud Mamiy. The committee members are leading mathematicians, educators and supporters of gifted young people from Maykop, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Innopolis, Sirius and Tumen.
