Summer Methodological University 2026

We invite students to participate in the work of the Summer Methodological University 2026. It will be held at the Adyghe State University educational base “Gornaya Legend” in August from 13 to 20.

Summer Methodological University is a traditional summer school of the Adyghe State University’s Student Science Society. It is held annually in the picturesque foothills of Adygheya. The purpose of SMU is to create a platform that unites Russian universities’ students to solve research, educational and technological problems on topical issues of the modern society development.

The theme of the SMU 2026 is “Modern culture and new technologies: current challenges and effective solutions”

The SMU program will include lectures, workshop, seminars, panel discussions and work in project groups. The participants will master the technologies of developing and implementing intellectual projects, will have the opportunity to develop system thinking skills, scientific justification of their actions and results, work in a team, methods of popularization of various sciences, modern digital technologies in education and science.

Summer Methodological University’s work will be organized in three directions:

• scientific and educational one (lecturers of leading scientists, master classes, projects, training with the participation of practitioners and experts);
• wellness (competitions, physical training, hiking trips, excursions);
• creative (festivals, intellectual games, creative contests). 

ASU leading scientists, experts of Russian educational and research organizations take part in the SMU organization. They are always a friendly, close-knit team of like-minded people, who are ready to share their knowledge with young scientists.

SMU is a special creative atmosphere where each participant can express themselves in various leisure activities. Traditionally, the program includes performances, of conducting quests, intellectual games

To participate in the Summer Methodological University, you need to fill out the application by June 5 2026 on link https://forms.yandex.ru/u/69f06202eb61462da874cc36 and pass competitive selection.

Participation in SMU is free of charge: accommodation and meals for the participants are provided at the expanse of the organizers. The transportation costs of non-residents are carried out at their own expense or the expense of the sending university.
