“A conversation with the Hero” Sergey Kovalev

Sergey Kovalev is a veteran of a special military operation, winner of four orders of Courage and other departmental awards, a participant of federal program “Time of Heroes” is undergoing an internship under the mentorship of the Head of Adygheyа Murat Kumpilov. He will be a guest of the ASU Youth Policy Department project “A conversation with the Hero”.
Sergey Kovalev is currently working on issues related to the support of the SMO participants and their families in Adygheya. He participates in key meetings on these issues, personally travels to municipalities and communicates with people.

Students and everyone will be able to ask questions and communicate with the quest in an open dialogue format.

Let us remind you tha program “Time of Heroes” has been initiated by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and is implemented by the Higher School of Public Administration RANKh GS on the basis of the “Senezh” Management workshop.
The project is aimed at training of the special operation veterans and participants in public and municipal management skills and personnel reserve formation.

Sergey Kovalev has been doing an internship in the Republic since July 2025 as a part of program. He has studied the structure of regional executive authorities, the work of local governments and got acquainted with the basics of the state civil service and the State Foundation’s republican branch “The Defenders of Fatherland”. Also, the veteran has visited regional program “Heroes of Adygheya”. He has noted the high level of the participants’ involvement and their sincere wish to be useful and change life in the Republic for the better.
