The seminar “Modern children’s literature in the Adyghe language: from concept to text”

Dear colleagues, writers, translators and all connoisseurs of Adyghe literature!

We invite you to take part in a master class, seminar for authors of children’s literature

The seminar has been organized by the Adyghe State University’s Publishing House as a part of the International Kirimizae Zhanae Literary Works Competition for Children.

The seminar’s moderators are:

·         Unurokova Raisa Butmirzovna, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, Head of Cultural History Department, Head of ASU Center of Adyghean Studies;

·         Khamirzokova Nuriet Aslanovna, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the ASU Department of Adyghe Philology and Culture.

 

Тhe seminar’s topic is “Modern children’s literature in the Adyghe language: from concept to text”

The focus is on:

·         The specifics of creating fairy tales, poems and stories for children.

·         Linguistic and stylistic features of works for children.

·         Analysis and professional discussion of participants’ texts.

 
Authors who want to present their works are invited to take part in the event:

·         Fairy tales, poems and stories for children in the Adyghe language.

·         Volume for poetic texts is up to 3 000 characters; prose texts from 6 000 to 10 000 characters.

The master class is an opportunity:

·         To get an expert analysis of your text made by leading experts in the field of Adyghe Philology and Culture.

·         To discuss creative ideas in a professional setting.

·         To contribute to the development of modern children’s literature in their native language.

Date and time: April 6, from 10:00 tо 17:00.

Venue: The Adyghe State University/s Conference hall of the Scientific library.
