This year, Adyghe State University will serve as one of the host sites for the Big Mathematical Workshop, which will be held on our campus from July 6 to 17. As part of the "Priority 2030" university development program, the project aligns with the university’s strategic focus on achieving technological leadership.

The Big Mathematical Workshop (BMM) is a large-scale event designed for school students, college students, and university participants specializing in information technology. During the workshop, teams of students and their mentors will engage in research, technological, and methodological challenges at ASU. Each project task is addressed in collaboration with a real client from the fields of science, education, or industry.

The BMM provides an excellent platform for participants to showcase their skills and develop their competencies across various domains. 

We invite high school students, university students, early-career researchers, and educators to participate. For teachers and researchers with higher education qualifications, the workshop will also serve as a professional development opportunity; upon successful completion, participants will receive a standard certificate.

At the Adygea venue, participants will have the opportunity to choose from four project topics: optimizing bank branch operating hours (client: Sovcombank Technologies LLC), developing an automated system for monitoring and accounting for incoming raw materials transported by rail at a manufacturing facility (client: EuroChem-BMU LLC), creating a geoinformation system for "Power Grids" (client: Maikop Thermal Power Plant LLC), and designing a microhydroelectric power plant for mountain and foothill regions (client: ASU Renewable Energy Sources Laboratory).

In addition to the project work, the program will feature engaging master classes, networking opportunities during lunch sessions, and exclusive ASU merchandise.

Schoolchildren recognized by their supervisors for their contributions during the Workshop can earn up to 5 points toward their overall score on the Unified State Exam when applying to Novosibirsk State University. Participants who are acknowledged by their supervisors will also receive certificates of participation in the Big Mathematical Workshop. 

Furthermore, the Workshop will serve as a professional development program for educators and researchers with higher education qualifications. Successful completion of the program will be recognized with an official certificate.

To participate, please register in your Personal Account on the project website by May 25th . Workshop events are free. Details about the objectives, project, and participation requirements can be found on the BMM website.

As a reminder, the Workshop is being held simultaneously at several locations: Maykop, Adyghe State University; Novosibirsk, Novosibirsk State University; and Tomsk, Tomsk State University.
