Adyghe State University invites you to participate in the Kirimize Zhane International Literary Competition for Children. In 2026, the competition will be held under the name "Jubilee" (Mefek1).

Authors over 18 years of age (professional and aspiring writers, poets, illustrators, translators) are invited to participate, regardless of residence or occupation. Participation is free.

The competition is held in three categories:

Prose and poetry – original works for children aged 3 to 12 years in Adyghe, Kabardino-Circassian and Russian languages;

Illustration – works for children’s works, including comics and silent books (a “silent book” without words, where the plot is revealed through visual means);

Translations – from Adyghe and Kabardino-Circassian into Russian and from Russian into Adyghe and Kabardino-Circassian.

Application deadline: from June 1 to August 31, 2026, inclusive.

Works are sent to e-mail: konkurs.jane@yandex.ru .

The competition results will be announced on November 15, 2026. Winners and runners-up will receive cash prizes, and special prizes from project partners will be provided.

Full terms and conditions of participation, requirements for the design of works, recommendations on the topic, and the composition of the jury are available in the Regulations on the competition website.
