On the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a delegation from Adyghe State University participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the central memorial in Maykop.
This event assumes particular significance during the declared Year of Unity. The victory of 1945 exemplifies the utmost importance of national solidarity, showcasing how people of various nationalities and diverse backgrounds united shoulder to shoulder in pursuit of a common goal—the liberation of their homeland.
Students, faculty, and staff of ASU commemorated the heroic liberators, home front workers, and all those who contributed to the victory. The moment of silence at the Eternal Flame is more than a ritual; it embodies the enduring bond between those who defended peace and the ongoing efforts of those who continue their work today.
A heartfelt salute to our veterans. Eternal memory to the fallen.
