Currently, nearly 200 students at the School of Modern Camp Counselors are preparing for summer teaching internships at children's health camps, where they will be responsible for the lives and health of children.
The future camp counselors not only gained vital knowledge but also practiced practical skills on mannequins and their fellow camp counselors, including:
- placing an unconscious person in the recovery position;
- cardiopulmonary resuscitation;
- clearing the airway of a foreign object;
- stopping various types of bleeding;
- fixing a wound with a penetrating object;
- treating heatstroke and sunstroke, etc.
The school annually invites Red Cross instructors to provide qualified training in first aid. The internship will continue in the future.
