Adyghe State University has extended its cooperation agreement with the Denau Institute of Entrepreneurship and Pedagogy. Located in the Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan, the Denau Institute of Entrepreneurship and Pedagogy (DIEP) was established in 2020 as part of ongoing reforms in higher education aimed at transforming Uzbekistan into a regional center for education and scientific innovation. DIEP offers undergraduate programs across 24 specializations and master's programs in 12 disciplines. The institute comprises faculties of Exact and Natural Sciences, Philology, Entrepreneurship and Management, and Pedagogy.
Since 2018, Adyghe State University has been actively collaborating with universities in Uzbekistan. In 2021, a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed between Adyghe State University and the Denau Institute of Entrepreneurship and Pedagogy. The partner institutions are vigorously expanding their collaboration in the fields of education and research, as well as fostering academic exchanges among faculty and students. They regularly organize international conferences, roundtables, and symposia, which are attended by students and faculty from both universities.
Lyubov Burkova, PhD in Pedagogy and Associate Professor in the Department of Subject and Professional Teacher Training at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology at ASU, has been teaching at the DIPP for three years as part of an academic exchange program, engaging students both offline and online. In 2022 and 2023, students from Uzbekistan completed language internships at ASU.

Moving forward, the universities plan to expand their collaboration beyond academic exchanges to include online and networked learning, which are currently among the most promising approaches. Additionally, to promote Russian education in the Republic of Uzbekistan, discussions are underway regarding the establishment of a branch of Adyghe State University at the Denau Institute of Entrepreneurship and Pedagogy, as well as the creation of a Russian language center.
The signed memorandum will reinforce new avenues of cooperation between Adyghe State University and the Denau Institute of Entrepreneurship and Pedagogy.
