The dynamics of sociocultural transformations in modern society have had a significant impact on all spheres of social life, which, in turn, has influenced changes in individual values and social and spiritual needs. Such sociocultural transformations clearly require ongoing scientific analysis by the intellectual community.
The All-Russian School of Young Sociologists is a scientific and educational platform where students, postgraduates, and young scientists from various regions of Russia not only present the results of their research activities but also receive consultations from renowned scientists, including the head of the Center for the Study of Russian Regions at the Institute of Sociology of the Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Sociology Olga Aksenova; the scientific director of the Institute of Sociology and Regional Studies of the Southern Federal University, and scientific director of the South-Russian branch of the Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Philosophy Yuri Volkov; the head of the Center for the Study of Interethnic Relations at the Institute of Sociology of the Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Sociology Vladimir Mukomel; the director of the Research Institute of Complex Problems, Doctor of Sociology Rashid Khunagov; and others.
Since 2007, Adygea, Rostov Oblast, Abkhazia, Armenia, Karachay-Cherkessia, and Crimea have served as research venues for the school. This is the fourth time that Adygea State University has hosted the School of Young Sociologists.
The organizers of the XIX All-Russian School of Young Sociologists were Adyghe State University, the Federal Research Sociological Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Council of Rectors of Universities of Southern Russia, the Institute of Sociology and Regional Studies of the Southern Federal University, and the South-Russian Branch of the Federal Research Sociological Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
As part of the program, school participants will discuss the results of their research at plenary and breakout sessions, participate in a roundtable discussion titled "Multi-Level Identity: Results of 20 Years of Research," a business game titled "Sociocultural Indicators of Family Identity and the Formula for Family Happiness," a master class titled "Presentation of Scientific Research Results in Academic Text," and present papers at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "New Meanings of Identity in Contemporary Socio-Political Realities," which will be held at ASU from October 9-11.
