From today until September 24, applications are accepted for participation in the Student Research Teams (SRTC) competition of the Adyghe State University. The winners of the competition will receive grant support from the funds of the strategic academic leadership program "Priority 2030" to implement their projects in the new academic year.

The goal of the competition is to identify and support promising scientific initiatives of students, develop their research potential and create conditions for the formation of sustainable scientific teams.

Participants in the competition may be SSRCs of all faculties and institutes of ASU, both existing and newly created for the purpose of participating in the competition. Interdisciplinary research projects will have advantages, as well as projects that will substantiate the prospects for further development of the research topic and the potential for creating a permanent research team.

The SSRC must include a scientific supervisor - an ASU employee or an invited specialist from a partner organization, and 2 to 5 ASU undergraduate and graduate students who are members of the Student Research Society. The team must have at least 2 students, including at least 1 undergraduate or specialist student. All participants must have good and excellent academic performance without academic debts.

Projects must correspond to one of three scientific directions:

  • Social and humanitarian research.

  • Natural science research.

  • Mathematics, IT and engineering sciences.

Projects may be focused on fundamental or applied research, as well as on the creation of innovative developments. A mandatory requirement is the relevance and novelty of the proposed research.

To participate in the competition, you must send a complete package of documents in electronic form (in PDF format) to the address: nis@adygnet.ru

The application includes:

  • Application for a grant.

  • Explanatory note with the justification of the project.

  • Characteristics of the SNIC participants.

  • Project presentation (no more than 5 slides).

All necessary forms and document templates are available on the ASU website. Details can be found in the regulations.

The list of winners will be published on the official website of ASU no later than September 30, 2025.
