Director of the Institute of Law of ASU Azamat Shadzhe took part in the international SCO forum in China

On June 17–18, the Shanghai University of Political Science and Law (PRC) hosted the forum “Legal Support for SCO Trade and Economic Cooperation”, which was attended by Azamat Shadzhe
 
Director of the Institute of Law of Adyghe State University. The event brought together representatives of the academic community and practicing lawyers representing higher education institutions and the legal business of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The key topics of discussion were the legal aspects of trade and economic partnership, support for scientific and technical innovations, as well as issues of sustainable development and ESG regulation. Scientific Advisor of the Institute of Law of ASU, Vice-Rector for Strategic and International Development of O.E. Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL), made a report on the impact of digitalization on law and the transformation of the legal profession. Participation in the forum allowed strengthening international academic ties and discussing current challenges in the field of law in the context of global cooperation. Let us recall that since 2023, the ASU Institute of Law has been implementing an innovative interdisciplinary project "Law of Sustainable Development and Regional Security", covering two main areas: "Sustainable Development of the Republic of Adygea: Political and Legal Dimension" and "Regional Aspects of National Security". Earlier, the first results of the project were presented at a meeting of the ASU Academic Council. At that time, the director of the ASU Institute of Law Azamat Shadzhe noted that the university plays a key role in promoting the national agenda of sustainable development until 2030, acting as a center of expert knowledge and scientific research
