Adyghe State University approved admission rules for 2025

Education

New admission rules have been published on the official website. In general, the mechanisms and procedures for admission to Adyghe State University have not undergone any significant changes, but there are some notable innovations.

One of the key changes is the abolition of the mandatory submission of a certificate upon admission. Instead of providing the original educational document, applicants are now required to submit a consent form for enrollment. This consent can be provided in either paper or electronic form through the designated services by selecting the appropriate option. Moreover, the deadlines for submitting consent for enrollment have been revised: August 1 marks the priority stage for target, separate, and special quotas, as well as for applicants with disabilities (without entrance examinations), while the main stage deadline is August 5.

The number of budgetary places available for admission within the various competitive groups— including those designated for special, separate, and target quotas— will be announced no later than April 10. Additionally, the new admission procedure stipulates that the number of places in fee-paying departments will be fixed and will not increase; the university plans to announce the number of commercial study places on March 3.

For applicants to the bachelor's/specialist's degree, separate quotas are allocated for children and participants of the SVO, as well as other categories, as well as special quotas for orphans and children with disabilities. A minimum of 10% of places in the budget admission under the program is allocated for each of these quotas to ensure their representation.

As of this year, places for separate and special quotas will be redistributed if they remain unfilled after the initial priority stage. For instance, if a separate quota has a shortage of places due to an excess of applicants and a special quota has an excess of places, the excess places from the special quota will be distributed to the separate quota to fill its needs.

Applicants to the targeted recruitment program now have the opportunity to earn 15 points for their individual achievements, up from 10. Additionally, an extra 5 points can be awarded for participating in career guidance events. However, the specific list of individual achievements eligible for the additional 5 points will be determined by the employer company.

There is a key restriction now applicable across all levels of education: applicants can submit only one application for targeted training, meaning they must choose one offer from one client to gain admission to just one educational program at one university.

Applicants who fall under a separate quota have the right to take general education entrance examinations at the university rather than the Unified State Exam. The results of these exams will now be considered in all competitions—even for those applicants wishing to enroll at the main stage or in fee-paying positions. Previously, exam results were only factored into the competition for a separate quota. Additionally, the process of submitting documents will be simplified; previously, applicants were required to submit the original certificate confirming their eligibility for a separate quota to the university. Now, a copy will suffice, and it can be verified through the Unified State Portal of Public Services.

Admission priorities must be indicated separately for different categories: for places within the target quota, for main budget places, for places within a separate and special quota, and for admissions to fee-paying positions.

Starting this year, applicants to master's and postgraduate programs will also be able to submit their documents through the super service of the state services portal "Online Admission to a University," which was previously available only to applicants for bachelor's and specialist's degrees.

The deadlines for submitting documents for budget places in bachelor's and specialist's degree programs are June 20 to July 25, while for master's degrees, the deadline is August 12. For applicants who will be taking entrance examinations, the admission period will conclude earlier—on July 16. The acceptance of applications for fee-paying places will close on September 15.
