ASU student Alina Pristanskaya secured second place in the Interregional Stage of the Abilympics Championship in the Correctional Psychology category. A second-year student at the Faculty of Social Technologies and Tourism within the Institute for Quality of Life, Alina represented Adygea with distinction at this prestigious event. The Interregional Stage of the Abilympics Professional Skills Championship for People with Disabilities (Higher Education Competency) was held in the Correctional Psychology category.

At the age of 90, Galina Fedorovna Shmelkova, a talented teacher, a competent leader, and a remarkable person whose name is inextricably linked with the history of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Adyghe State University, passed away.

Participants from five countries became winners of the XI Caucasian Mathematical Olympiad

The 11th Caucasian Mathematical Olympiad concluded in Maykop. It was held from March 13 to 18. This year, 154 schoolchildren from 13 countries and 21 regions of Russia participated. After two rounds of the Olympiad, Russia had the highest number of winners, with four gold medals. Among the international participants, teams from Serbia, Turkey, and Uzbekistan achieved the best results, each winning two gold medals. Additionally, a student from Armenia also earned a gold medal.
