VI International Round Table Discussion “The foreigners’ difficulties of mastering Russian phraseological units”

The Adyghe State University’s Department of Russian as a Foreign Language is inviting to take part in the VI International Round Table Discussion “The foreigners’ difficulties of mastering Russian phraseological units”

 The event will be held in a mixed format (face-to-face and remotely) on May 11 from 13:00 to 17:00 Moscow time, room 508, the address is Maykop, Zhukovsky street, 18.

The purpose of the Round Table is to analyze modern techniques and methods of teaching of Russian phraseology to foreign students and graduate students. 

Also, it is planned to exchange work experience in order to develop methodological recommendations for teaching Russian phraseology to foreign students.

Proposed discussion Issues are:

difficulties of mastering foreign phraseology;

identification of phraseological turn;

the internal form of a phraseological unit;

national specifics of phraseological units;

the functioning of phraseological units in a live speech;

ways for foreign students to learn Russian phraseology based on authentic texts;

function of paraphrasical constructions in formation communicative competence among foreign students.

Round Table participants can offer their issues for discussion.

Lecturers, researchers, postgraduates, undergraduates and students are invited to participate in the event.
