Dear colleagues!

We invite novice and experienced authors and of all those who create stories for young readers to a master class seminar for authors of children’s literature with the famous writer Anna Ignatova.

The seminar has been organized by the Adyghe State University’s Publishing House as a part of International Kirimizae Zhanae Literary Works Competition for Children

April 1–2 — master class and analysis of works

April 3 апреля —Anna Ignatova’s creative evening

О семинаре

Anna Ignatova is a famous children’s writer, a member of St. Petersburg Writers’ Union, member of the Literary Council of the V.P. Krapivin International Literary Prize. She is the winner of the Korney Chukovsky Prize, the winner of the First prize of the Renata Mukha International Poetry Competition, winner of the Samuel Marshak All-Russian Literary Award. Together with the writer, we will immerse ourselves in the world of children’s literature, discuss the secrets of creating vivid fairy tales, poems and stories for children from 3 to 6 years old.

The conditions for participation are

1. The master’s analysis of works:

·         Acceptance of texts until March 10 (volume poetry texts to 3000 characters, prose texts from 6000 to 10 000 characters).

·         Topic: fairy tales, poems, stories for children from 3 to 6 years old.

·         Anna Ignatova will personally select 10–15 works fоr detailed analysis at the seminar.

2. For free listeners:

·         You can attend the seminar without submitting a text.

·         Participation is free, but pre-registration is required.

Program

April 1–2 (master class):

·         Selected texts analysis, structure, language, imagery.

·         How to keep a child’s attention?

·         Dialogue with authors, answers to questions.

April 3 (creative meeting):

·         Anna Ignatova’s works reading.

·         Informal communication, master’s advice

The purpose of the seminar

To help authors create vivid, memorable stories for the youngest children to unleash their creative potential and become part of children’s writers’ community

·         For works’ analysis you should send a text (in .doc or.pdf) and a brief information about yourself to e-mail press@adygnet.ru with note “Anna Ignatova” until March 10, 2026.
