Registration for the National Patriot Award, organized by the Rospatriottsentr Rosmolodezh, is now open. The award is presented to individuals and organizations that contribute to strengthening civic identity and national unity, preserving historical memory, and promoting traditional spiritual and moral values. Applications can be submitted until September 12 on the Federal State Automated Information System (FGAIS) "Youth of Russia" platform . The National Patriot Award is implemented as part of the national project "Youth and Children."

"Over the past four years, more than 10,000 projects have applied for the Patriot Prize. These projects aim to preserve historical memory, instill a love of the Motherland in children and young people, promote the culture and history of our country, and foster active citizenship among young people. We recognize educators, mentors, search and rescue workers, volunteers, participants and veterans of special military operationseveryone who makes a significant contribution to the education of the younger generation. This year, the Patriot Prize offers projects in a new category— " Best Project of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia" —for those whose work fosters friendship between peoples and unites the citizens of our country," noted Grigory Gurov, head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs .

You can submit applications for the award in 15 categories covering key areas of patriotic work: "Best Patriotic Project of the Year," "Best Regional Team of the Year," "Best Media Project," "Best Municipal Project of the Year," "Best Project Aimed at Addressing Destructive Behavior in Teenagers," "Best Corporate Project of the Year," "Bringing Victory Closer (Best Entrepreneurial Initiative)," "Best Project Aimed at Building Unity among the Peoples of Russia," "Best Project in the Sphere of Patriotic Education of the Union State," "Best Student Patriotic Project," "Best International Project," "Best Children's Project," "Best Educational Project of the Year," "Best Cultural Project," and "Loyal to the Fatherland and the People."

The "Best Project Aimed at Building Unity among the Peoples of Russia" category was created to identify, recognize, and replicate the best regional and federal practices demonstrating the unity and shared achievements of the peoples of Russia. The award is presented to the authors of initiatives that create national cultural centers, develop management solutions to support national and cultural autonomies, implement ethnocultural exhibition projects, and implement social initiatives that strengthen mutual understanding and respect between people of different nationalities. This category is timed to coincide with the Year of Unity among the Peoples of Russia.

Citizens of Russia and organizations operating in the field of civic-patriotic education in the country can participate in the application campaign.

Last year, the award went to the "Ataman" youth Cossack club from Naro-Fominsk, led by Denis Anishchenko, holder of the Order of Courage. The club provides comprehensive training for teenagers, including tactical, medical, and drill training, and brings together over 60 young Cossacks, many of whom are the children of military personnel. The "Youth Army. Mentoring" project in the Rostov Region was recognized as a successful mentoring experience: senior members of the "Youth Army" help their younger comrades develop patriotic activism, making the "Pchely" detachment one of the most active in the country. A major educational project was the production of "The Nuremberg Judgment" by students from Moscow State Linguistic University , a reenactment based on archival materials. The performance attracted an audience of over 5,000 students from leading universities across the country.

"In the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, our award unites people of different nationalities around the most important thinglove for the Motherland. Unity manifests itself in concrete actions: working together, raising children, remembering history. Opening the application process on Russia Day is symbolic: 15 nominations reveal how cultural diversity strengthens a common patriotic foundation. Each participant demonstrates by their example: we are one country, one family. The award provides an opportunity to scale up best practices and gain recognition. The award ceremony will traditionally take place as part of the All-Russian Patriotic Forum ," said Elena Belikova, head of the RosPatriotCenter of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs .

The award's partners are the Association of Student Patriotic Clubs "I Am Proud," "Yunarmiya," the "Voin" Center, the Russian "Knowledge" Society, and the Directorate of the World Youth Festival.

The awards ceremony will take place as part of the All-Russian Patriotic Forum and will coincide with National Unity Day.
