Adyghe State University Students Participate in the Nationwide 'Windows of Victory' Campaign
On the eve of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, students of Adyghe State University participated in the annual All-Russian patriotic campaign, "Windows of Victory."
The event is dedicated to preserving the historical memory of the Soviet people's heroism, fostering respect for veterans and heroes of both the frontlines and the home front, and creating a festive atmosphere for May 9.
As part of the campaign, students, faculty, and activists from ASU student associations decorated the windows of academic buildings with themed stencil images and symbols celebrating Victory. The displays featured silhouettes of cranes and doves as symbols of peace, St. George's ribbons, images of the Eternal Flame, carnations—representing resilience and remembrance—and congratulatory inscriptions honoring Victory Day.
"Participating in the 'Windows of Victory' event was more than just an act of decoration; it was a tribute and a heartfelt expression of gratitude to those who fought for the freedom of our homeland," remarked the student participants.
The campaign continued until May 9. Everyone was encouraged to participate by decorating their windows in memory of the heroes.
