From May 6 to 8, ASU Hosted the St. George's Ribbon Event

The Youth Policy Department, in collaboration with activists from Adyghe State University, has organized the annual patriotic campaign, "St. George's Ribbon." This event is coordinated to coincide with Victory Day celebrations.
Volunteers distributed over a thousand ribbons from May 6 to 8. On May 6, these symbols of military valor were presented to participants and guests during the "Conversation with a Hero" event. On May 7, ribbons were available at the festive concert "Victory Spring," scheduled for 3:00 PM in the ASU Concert Hall. On May 8, activists stationed near the university's academic buildings during breaks between classes and on nearby streets.
As a reminder, since 2022, the St. George's Ribbon has been officially recognized as a symbol of military glory in Russia. Therefore, the event organizers urged all participants to adhere to the following guidelines for wearing the ribbon: not to place it on clothing below the waist, not to attach it to bags, backpacks, antennas, or car windshield wipers, and to avoid wearing it as a bracelet or hair accessory. Additionally, the ribbon should be kept in good condition—free of tears, dirt, or wrinkles.
