ASU hosted an international round table on the study of Russian phraseological units

The International Faculty hosted the 5th International Round Table on the topic of “Difficulties in Mastering Russian Phraseological Units by Foreigners”, organized by the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language. The event brought together leading experts, teachers, researchers, postgraduates, master’s students and students from India, Venezuela, China, Iran, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, as well as from leading Russian universities such as Kuban State University, Moscow State Pedagogical University (Institute of Philology) and A.S. Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language.
 
The guest of honor at the round table was Suman Beniwal , Doctor of Philology, Professor at the Center for Russian Studies, School of Language, Literary and Cultural Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi).
 
The participants discussed current issues of studying and teaching Russian phraseological units to foreigners, exchanged experiences and presented the results of their research. The event became an important step in the development of international cooperation in the field of philology and methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language.
